Please know that no matter what path you choose, you are showing incredible strength and care. Our greatest dream has always been to grow our family and feel that adoption is the path meant for us. Justin grew up near Atlanta, Anastasia in New York, and we met while studying music in grad school in Florida. At first just friends, our paths crossed again when Justin's touring musical group, invited Anastasia to join. Soon after, Justin began sending her witty and thoughtful quotes, persistence that paid off! Though we still debate when our "first date" really was, we've been together for about 9 years. Today, our home is filled with music, laughter, gatherings with loved ones, travel adventures, and plenty of frisbee games with our beloved dog, Cheerio. We live in a city in South Carolina, in a cozy house that we have made into a home. Our house has become a gathering place for friends and family, with space to cook meals together, relax in the living room, and spend time outdoors in the yard. One of our favorite things about our home is the big backyard where we can play with Cheerio and look forward to someday playing outside with a child. Our neighborhood is welcoming, and family oriented, surrounded by great schools, parks, and walking trails.
Adoption is deeply meaningful to us because we know families can be created in many ways. We have close friends and family who are adopted and who have adopted. We have seen firsthand the joy, love, and connection that it can bring. We feel grateful for the opportunity to provide a nurturing home and to honor our future child and their story.
